The Ottawa Fury closed their chapter with the North American Soccer league losing to Fort Lauderdale 1-0.

This season the Fury finished last in the fall season and combined they finished 10th in the league after going to the championship game last year.

Ottawa Fury were dominating Fort Lauderdale outshooting them 17-8 with possessions and chances they had.

They had many chances in the first half and they wanted to get on the board immediately.

In the 66th minute, Fort Lauderdale got on the board with a lobbed free kick from midfielder sending it to the head of Amauri to take the lead and they never looked back.

After the game was over, the Ottawa Fury came on the field and saluted the fans after finishing in 10th place.

This was the final game in the NASL as the Fury moved to the United Soccer league starting in March 2017.
