After a long awaited 8 months, winter is finally here! Meaning two things… Outdoor rinks and the smell of hockey. For me at least, hockey must be played outside in the cold and must be felt in the cold weather. There’s nothing better than going to the local rink all bundled up and having to shovel the drive way to get there.
Here’s a solid example!
As far as I’m concerned, Hockey should not be associated with warm weather. You shouldn’t see people going to the rink in sandals or shorts. I just doesn’t make sense.
Canada is known for its unpredictable weather and that’s why we should embrace it with our national sport, hockey.
Get our to the pond, play some puck and enjoy this beautiful weather.
